Fourth of July Safety Tips

Happy 4th of July from OBG Foster Dog, Buddy Watson

Today is a day of celebrations and family gatherings, but sadly it is also the number one day that pets go missing. Many pets panic at the sound of firecrackers, escape through an open door or window, and disappear into the night. Many turn up miles from home -- frightened, disoriented, dehydrated, and sometimes injured. Others are lost forever. Please take a moment to read these safety tips from the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).  From all of us at OBG Cocker Rescue, we wish all of you and your pets a safe and ‪Happy 4th of July‬!
