OBG's 5th Save of Christmas - Meet Brady!

On the fifth day of Christmas, the traditional song says my true love sent to me five golden rings. Our fifth save of Christmas, Brady, has been looking for the golden rings.

Earlier this month we were contacted by a distraught woman who had two cocker spaniels that needed to be rehomed as soon as possible. Her husband had left her and her children without any money, so they were forced to move out of their home and move in with family. These were hard blows, especially as Christmas approached. Adding to their distress, they also had to give up their precious canine companions, as her family would not accept the dogs in their home.

OBG was willing to take both dogs; we have already received 4-year-old Brady, and sister Bella will be joining us after the holidays. This sweet boy is blind and mostly deaf. His blindness appears to be the result of a birth defect. He senses vibrations and possibly hears sounds in limited ranges. Brady is otherwise healthy and very cute: good teeth, beautiful coat of hair, and very strong. We wanted to find Brady the "right" foster home. Our handsome buff boy went to his new foster home on December 14.

Within moments of meeting, the Christmas candle sparked, and a connection was forged between foster and dog. Clearly, we had found the right foster home for Brady, as we just learned his foster family wants to adopt him: Brady got the golden rings!
