Ellington's Pupdate

Copper photobombs Eli's picture
It's Adopt-a-Senior month and we wanted showcase how great 14-year-old Ellington is doing! Here is a note from his Mom:

I wanted to give you an update on Ellington (big brother Copper always wants to be in the picture!). He has been with us four months and we are thrilled with his progress from the rather sad sack he was when we brought him home in June. He has more mobility and energy, is more alert, likes his special bath, even his eye drops and his special food! He is beginning to bark occasionally at things he sees in the yard while exploring, tail held high. He has emerged from a fospice boy to one that surely has more happy years ahead! We are so happy he could join our family!

Getting his post bath rub down!

Considering adopting a senior dog? To further inspire you, we share the ASPCA's Top 10 Reasons to Adopt an Older Dog. We couldn't agree more! Check out the list here.

We would love to hear how your senior pup is doing. Send updates and pictures to obgcockerconnection@gmail.com.
