Back in Black: Meet Hardy!

During the month of May, OBG is again participating in Best Friends Animal Society's "Back in Black" campaign to increase the awareness and adoption of black and mostly black dogs. Come meet our black beauties - like Hardy featured above - at any of our adoption shows this month. Adoption fees for our black dogs will be reduced to $300 during May - but they are priceless!

Let's Meet Hardy!

Hardy is a 6-year-old black and white cocker whose family fell on hard times and so he came to OBG. He loves other dogs and playing fetch with tennis balls! He is housebroken, knows several commands, loves to ride in the car and take brisk walks.

His foster mom tells us he is a great communicator and has some preferences (umm, requests) for his forever home.  He is sure kids are great and all but they kind of make him nervous so he would prefer no little humans in his forever home.  He also realizes that crates are supposed to be helpful, safe places for four-legged kids but he prefers the open floor plan of his human's house. just sayin'! And last, he really loves to be with his peeps and other dogs and so he hopes his forever home will have a canine sibling. That way when his peeps have to go out, he won't get lonely.
