OBG's Eighth Save of Christmas!

Our "Eighth Save of Christmas" is Stanley, a lucky boy who came to OBG healthy and needing little medical treatment. Even when dogs are healthy, we still have expenses, such as the cost of kenneling (until a foster can be found) and will often have other expenses for that dog until adopted. With YOUR help, OBG can continue to help dogs like Stanley have a warm bed for Christmas!

Stanley spent the last 8 years of his life living outdoors, no matter how hot or how cold. His owners were not trying to be cruel to Stanley- they just believed that dogs are meant to live outside.

Earlier this month, OBG learned of Stanley's situation at the same time that we were experiencing snow and freezing temperatures. We spoke with Stanley's family, and they agreed to surrender him to us. On December 9th he came to OBG to find a new forever home where he could always live indoors and be warm, but still have a yard where he can go outside and run and play. He is a very active boy and loves to run!

Stanley is currently looking for a foster home and will be available for adoption after initial evaluation in a home! You can learn more about him on his webpage! Welcome Stanley!
