OBG's 5th Save of Christmas!

On the 5th Save of Christmas, we present Sam I Am. Unique name for a unique pup. Sam I Am is a 10-year-old gorgeous buff cocker. He was dumped at a North Carolina kill shelter because his family was moving and for unknown reasons did not take their furry family member with them. He had been with the same family for all of his 10 years -- how can he now be homeless?? Sam I Am was heartbroken and confused to be suddenly cast out.

He did not deserve to be dumped at a kill shelter! He was alone in the world and facing a not so happy ending. But he believed in Santa...he has been rescued by OBG and is looking forward to happier times. He is quite the looker, with a striking pose and all the poise of cocker royalty. He is currently being evaluated by our medical partners in a vet hospital in Northern Virginia. With the kindness of strangers (also known as OBG foster families) and a little luck, he may be in a foster home for Christmas!
