OBG's 3rd Save of Christmas!

On the "3rd Save of Christmas," we are reminded that some families find themselves unable to afford care for their pets and face the difficult decision to give them up.  During the holiday season, OBG works even harder to raise funds so we can bring dogs like Jackson Jay into OBG.

Jackson Jay, or JJ, as we are fondly calling him, was rescued on December 8, 2013. He is a 5-year-old black and white cocker cutie. His prior family couldn't afford his care and turned him in to a shelter to be put down. But when the shelter brought him to a vet for this purpose, the vet contacted OBG to take him. This will be JJ's best Christmas ever because OBG rescued him! JJ needs a Total Ear Canal Ablation to eliminate the pain from his diseased ear. Whewwww...big bucks! But JJ is still in the prime of his life, full of puppy energy and love. He is not on our web site yet while he undergoes medical evaluation and treatment. He is ready, though, to receive a big OBG welcome hug full of holiday cheer!
