#26: Sophie

Earlier this year, Sophie was our Chelsea, a loving pup who just needed a forever family who recognized her cuteness...

Just wanted to give you ladies an update that Sophie is doing great! The past few weeks she stopped squeaking her toys and seemed to only carry them around with her front teeth. There was also an occasional yelp out of the blue. We took her to our vet thinking it was a tooth problem. He checked her out and told us to give it a little more time. Put her on rimadyl. She is now fine and squeaking away.

We are so happy that Sophie is enjoying her toys!

She and Buddy are getting along splendidly. She is following him outside and wants to be around anything he might be doing. She is so inquisitive!

Cuddly friends.

She is enjoying the daily walks on our trails and has totally bonded with my husband. Still barks at strangers occasionally on the trail but has made great progress there too. I think it will just take some time there. She could not be any sweeter and we all love her. We took her to an eye specialist at The Hope Center in Vienna Va. And all is well there too. We’re all set up to keep her on the eye drops and she is so good about that. We’ll keep her checked several times a year.

Editor's secret: I LOVE giraffes, so this photo is one
of my favorites ever!

We love her so much and she’s added so much to our house.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful update on this sweet girl.

  1. This dog looks so much like my Baci--my angel that I lost June 2011--how cute!

  2. So sorry to hear of your loss. I would love to see photos of your angel. Thanks so much for reading!

  3. Miss Chelsea now will always hold a very special place in our hearts!!
